    1. Where can I renew my motor insurance with Perks?

    You can visit PERKS counter at selected PETRONAS stations.

    Click HERE for current list of stations.

    You can also call our Call Centre at 03-7688 9011 (Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm) to renew.

     

    1. What is the renewal process for Motor Insurance at PERKS counter?

    Step 1: Provide your vehicle registration number.

    Step 2: Provide your personal details:

    • Name as per NRIC
    • NRIC

    Step 3: Review quotation provided.

    Step 4: Make insurance premium payment.

    Step 5: You can use AXXESSpoints and/or MESRA points to pay towards your insurance premium payment.

     

    1. What is the renewal process for Road Tax at PERKS counter?

    Step 1: Provide your vehicle registration number.

    Step 2: Provide your personal details:

    • Name as per NRIC
    • NRIC

    Step 3: Review amount due for road tax. The charges involved are application (road tax fee) charges, convenience fees and delivery charges.

    *Note: It is necessary to make payment for all outstanding traffic offences recorded prior to road tax renewal.

    Step 4: Make payment for road tax renewal as per quotation provided.

    Step 5: Please provide your mailing address, the road tax will be delivered to your doorstep with delivery charges levied as follows:

    1. What is the renewal process for Motor Insurance through Call Centre 03-7688 9011?

    Step 1: Provide your vehicle registration number

    Step 2: Provide your personal details:

    • Name as per NRIC
    • NRIC

    Step 3: Review quotation provided.

    Step 4: Make insurance premium payment as per quotation after deducting the AXXESSpoints and/or MESRA points if any.

    Step 5: Perks will send the cover note via email.

     

    1. What is the renewal process for Road Tax through our Call Centre 03-7688 9011?

    Step 1: Provide your vehicle registration number.

    Step 2: Provide your personal details:

    • Name as per NRIC
    • NRIC

    Step 3: Review amount due for road tax. The charges involved are application (road tax fee) charges, convenience fees and delivery charges.

    1. How do I pay with AXXESSpoints?

    Just come to any PERKS counter or call us to provide us your IC no, and we will then do the rest.

    Only at PERKS, we accept motor insurance renewal payment through AXXESSpoints and/or cash.

     

    1. Can I pay with MESRA points too?

    Yes, you can. You just need to convert your MESRA points to AXXESSpoints.

     

    1. How do I convert my MESRA points?

    Just come to any PERKS counter or call us to provide us your IC no, and we will then do the rest.

    Only at PERKS, we accept MESRA points to part pay for your motor insurance renewal.

     

    1. How do I collect the points?

    For MESRA members – points are earned through pumping fuel at any PETRONAS station and spending at Kedai Mesra.

    For AXXESS members – AXXESSpoints are earned through AXXESS merchants. Just to name a few, for example our e-Merchants such as Lazada, Zalora, Fave, booking.com, Agoda, Traveloka, and groceries partners such as Giant, Cold Storage, Mercato, Jasons, TMC and many more.

    Do note that for all e-commerce merchants, you have to log-in through www.axxess.com.my/merchants to earn AXXESSpoints.

     

    1. What is MESRA Points Value if I convert it to AXXESSpoints?

    1,100 MESRA points = 4.44 AXXESSpoints which equals to RM4.44.

    Only for motor insurance redemption, 1 AXXESSpoints is equivalent to RM1.

    For others, the value of AXXESSpoints vary depending on merchants.

     

    1. I don’t have an AXXESS card. How do I become an AXXESS member?

    Login https://app.axxess.com.my/index.php/register.html to register to become an AXXESS member.

     

    1. How many MESRA Points do I earn at PETRONAS?

    You earn 1x MESRA point for every RM1 spent in Kedai Mesra.

    And 3x MESRA points for every 1 litre of fuel spent in PETRONAS Station.

     

    1. Can I use my AXXESSpoints to pay for any motor insurance company?

    For now, we have 8 panel insurers which we represent that accepts AXXESSpoints for premium payments. But worry not, we will have more insurance companies on our panel soon.

     

    1. Who are your panel insurers?

    Zurich, Zurich Takaful, Takaful Ikhlas, AXA, Allianz, AIG, P&O, Liberty.

    And more will be coming on board

     

    1. How do I go about making a claim on damages?

    1. What are the types of payment options available?

    Cash or Debit/Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard), locally issued in Malaysia

     

    1. What are the benefits of renewing my road tax with PERKS?

    Only with PERKS, you can pay your motor insurance premium with AXXESSpoints & Mesra points.

    1. Can I renew with PERKS if I am not an AXXESS member?

    Yes, you can. You can apply an AXXESS card right away to start earning and accumulating AXXESSpoints, so you can use your AXXESSpoints to pay for your motor insurance premium when you renew with PERKS next year.

    These same AXXESSpoints can be used as part of the 400 AXXESSpoints that is needed for you to enjoy a year’s Free Private Healthcare benefits worth RM50,000.

     

    1. Can I renew with PERKS if I am not Mesra member?

    Yes, you can. You can apply for a Mesra card at any PETRONAS station to start earning and accumulating Mesra points.

    And by pumping RM100 worth of fuel every month, you will receive a free PA in the following month by deducting 100 Mesra points.

    Plus, you can convert your balance Mesra points to AXXESSpoints and use these AXXESSpoints to offset your motor insurance premium when you renew with PERKS.

     

    1. I can only renew based on the panel of insurers that you have?

    No, you don’t have to. If your motor insurance is covered by other insurance company that is not listed with us (yet), it is always wise to have a comparison before you proceed for another renewal.  Having said that, we are able to generate quote for you on-the-spot! At NO COST!
